New Car: Rickie Jones’ PN ’12 Camaro
There’s not a lot to go on, but this is the brand-new 2012 Camaro with new Summit Racing sponsorship that second-generation driver Rickie Jones will be wheeling in ADRL Pro Nitrous this season with his father, Rick Jones, calling the shots as crew chief.
Not at all surprisingly, it comes out of the RJ Race Cars shop in Galesburg, Illinois, with nitrous-injected Reher & Morrison power under the hood.
“I’m very excited for our new 2012 Camaro. There has been a lot of talk about this body and we’re expecting good things,” Jones said. “I’m anxious to get it finished and see what it can do in testing.
“After finishing 8th in the Pro Nitrous points last year, and breaking into the 3.70s, and running incredible.920s 60ft times, we have high expectations for the 2012 season, and are really looking forward to being at the track again, having fun, winning races, and representing Summit Racing Equipment.”
